More than 20 Team members came out today for an early April ride on the lonesome roads near Cardwell. Brisk temperatures but bluebird skies made for great riding. The ride runs along the scenic Jefferson River at the start before heading into a surprisingly long climb at about the halfway point. Several false summits no doubt frustrated many riders (this one included). The Tobacco Root Mountains loomed in the distance on the second half of the ride. The significant snow coverage promises good mountain bike riding well into the heat of summer.
Tonight Eric and Angie are hosting a potluck/ team meeting.
Look out for more TGD group rides around the region. Its a great way to get to know teammates, and see new country on seldom driven roads.
